The AP-LAR-1 is an in-line, N-Type connector (1 x female, 1 x male) lightning arrester, designed for use with Aruba wireless access points and antennas when deployed outdoors. The device is designed to protect the access point radios from high-voltage lightning transient voltage. As the device is 2.0-6.0GHz frequency range supporting, the same arrester part may be used for 2.4-2.5 GHz or 5 GHz deployments. AP-LAR-1 is weather-proof once installed.
