HPE Ethernet Custom Cable Kit

- Enables the customer to receive a racked solution with optimised ethernet cable lengths
- Allows the customer to specify the colour of the cables within the rack

How does it work?
- The customer provides HPE with the point to point connection points between racked products, as well as the topology of the rack
- HPE uses this information to determine how many Network Custom Cable Kits need to be added to the BOM to ensure optimum cabling. Optimised cabling means that the racked solution is not delivered with excessively long ethernet cables

The service is priced per kit and is added to the BOM at the rack level.

Special considerations and service limitations:
- Requests will be reviewed by the HPE Central team and, where necessary, more appropriate services will be assigned based on the specific products being configured
- The service is currently available for CAT6 ethernet cables
- Each CAT6 kit includes up to ten (10) cables of twelve feet or less, in increments of one foot. If longer cables are required, then custom price quoting is required, which may lead to longer lead times
- These are CAT6 patch cables, and not be confused with cross over cables
- No feature code is generated for this service
